The cables worked great. My wires were broken, causing the door ajar light to come on every time I opened or closed a door or sunroof window. Then my window wouldn't open. Replacing the cables solved these problems. I may have connected the cables backwards because the white end was very tight and the black end was so loose that I had to use pliers to squeeze the holder a bit to make sure the end didn't come out of the holder. I didn't measure to see if there was a difference in the size of the ends, but you can check that before installing yours.
