I purchased this table at a great price while it was on sale for the holidays. The amazon freight delivery is pretty amazing--at the time of purchase you just pick a convenient delivery slot--even on the weekends. I had the freight deliverers bring it all the way to the backyard for me. The thing is ridiculously heavy and packed in a combination particle-board/cardboard box that takes awhile to cut away. The table is extremely well built, with solid aluminum components. The surface, however, isn't perfect. The blue paint/coating on the table I received had many imperfections (streaks) that make it not perfectly smooth. Now, we aren't professionals or anything and just want a table for leisure in the back yard--but still when you spend hundreds of dollars on something, you want it to be perfect, right? Do these imperfections (kind of like a ripple) influence play? Maybe not. as I said, we aren't pros. But by the time I got the table tops flipped over to the point I could see them, the table was completely unpacked and half-built. We agonized over whether to return it. revain was helpful in saying they would, but the high cost of unbuilding it, trying to rebox it in a half-torn up box and arranging for a freight pickup. not to mention the environmental cost of shipping this thing all over the country and it ending up in a landfill. well, we decided just to keep it. I called revain and explained the situation and they were able to do a little something for me on price, instead of returning it. And I'm glad we did, because it's super fun. Just know it's not perfect. And.wait for the holiday sale!
