Great monitor for the price!

After some testing I have to say that I really like this monitor for the price. Is this the best monitor ever? No of course not. I'll start with the biggest concerns about this panel. Many spoke of the halo. First of all, this monitor runs at 75 Hz with a response time of 5 ms. With 30 fps videos, you will most likely notice a slight ghosting. In truth, it's not bad at all and at 60 or 75 fps it's not noticeable at all. Also, to get a 5ms response time, you need to use the faster or faster setting. I find "fastest" great in games at full 75Hz, I don't notice any real ghosting or overshoot. Now when I watch YouTube videos I see some overspeed on the fastest settings. I think it's best to leave it quickly. Also download the monitor drivers from the Philips website, this helps with some weird overshoots I had initially. Another downside is the viewing angle. The scene is insanely bright when you're sitting straight in front of you, but moving to the sides the color stays and doesn't wash out, but the brightness drops off quite a bit. Typical VA panel. From this point of view, sitting in front of the monitor is not a problem. Overall the colors and contrast of this panel are awesome, I like this video editing screen better. For gaming, this is a good choice if you have a mid to low frequency system where frequencies above 75Hz are not an issue. To be honest 75Hz runs smooth and I have no problem with it even though I've been using the 140Hz screen for a while. Many players won't like it, but if you're on a budget and want 1440p for $280, then this is for you. It is very well assembled, I have no broken pixels or defects. In summary, with a 5ms VA panel, some minor ghosting is to be expected, but only noticeable with low video quality. It seems to me that many who have had this problem have their monitor set incorrectly. This is a good choice for the average user. love the monitor. The value is fantastic.
