Wont go flat: my feedback

It defenetly looks cool and i dont regret buying it, however the ends will not go flat. Its driving me nuts having to see this every time I walk by. Ive tried setting a cat scratch tower on for 2 days, setting bar stools on it all day, walked on it, folded it and held it together, layed it upside down all day. It still will not go completely flat. I hope one day it will or I actually might throw it away.
