I bought this kit to help me install a styrofoam floor in my caravan. Having done several tile and stone projects, I knew that cutting to odd shapes can be frustrating. It turned out that working with foam was very different from working with ceramic or stone tiles. A slip with a box cutter can result in a 2" x 2" x 1/2" tile not fitting well. It takes a while to learn how to use the outline tool, so it took a few tries to figure out how to position the tool accurately to get the correct lines, and how to then transfer the lines to the foam tile with the correct orientation Once I got the hang of it, the tool reduced the time needed per measurement and improved the accuracy of the final fit.
