Review on Bell Custom 500 Helmet (Gloss Vintage White - X-Small) by John Love

So far this article is amazing. Got this after ordering 2 Biltwell Bonanza helmets and I'm glad I didn't settle for gold because the 500 fits my head perfectly. Not to say the Biltwell was of poor quality, in fact it was almost as good as the 500, but I would say the bell was of slightly higher quality, but not by much. My head is a bit elongated and the Biltwell Bonanza is for a rounder head, so the medium size was too wide but fit well front to back and the small was too short front to back but fit the width. Bell 500 average is just what you need. I would say if you are between sizes, be sure to choose the larger of the two. I prefer a slim fit and usually wear a large, small or smaller medium and buy based on reviews from others. I ended up getting a Biltwell Bubble Smoke Screen and it looks perfect and suits Bell! Installation is very easy and the dome screen offers a perfect field of view without any distortion. With this helmet you can see everything and everyone, no blind spots. I don't have any problems on the track. Nice and quiet at speed. No weird whistles or howls from the vents, but a copious flow of air coming out from under the screen. I live on Oahu and was worried about getting too hot, but for now I'm very happy :) Enjoy.
