Works exactly as expected and very easy to use. We love strong coffee and let a new batch sit for 24-36 hours, pour into a 2 liter glass jug, fill the rest of the jug with fresh water and enjoy while a new batch is brewed in this craft again. My mother lives with me and is a coffee lover, so 2 liters is enough for a maximum of 2-3 days. Some lessons learned: Don't grind the soil too fine. This helps with fine particles that end up in the coffee, as well as filling problems. We add soil just below the end of the net and then slowly pour water through it. You can pour water into the jug and then fill up the rest, as another reviewer mentioned, we used this method and it's great. I just love how dark the water gets after slowly pouring it in. Personal preferences. Infuse for a full 18 hours or longer to begin with. When you remove the filter, tilt it in your mouth so that the coffee stuck in the coffee grounds flows into the pot. The water level drops to about 6 cups or less when you remove the grinder. You can leave it as is and drink it or add more water to the fill line. I highly recommend testing it as is and at various dilution levels. Everyone loves their coffee the way they like it, so find your style. I'm lazy and don't like making new batches all the time, so we'll keep ours longer. The coffee is more concentrated, so I can dilute it more, get more coffee, and use less coffee grounds. I haven't tried reusing old lands like the other reviewer does, but I might give this round a try. Serves my green and lazy side very well when it works.
