I'm a youtube mechanic. I watched several videos about changing the timing belt on my sister-in-law's Volvo. One guy pointed out that you need to lock the two camshafts in place before removing the timing belt as they will move if you don't. The lobes rotate independently of the cams, so your top dead center marks don't mean crap. I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't seen this video and bought this tool. I'm not a mechanic, that's why I say I'm a YouTube mechanic. My terminology may not be entirely correct. But know that this tool is a must have on this machine. I think it was called variable time or something like that. I really do not recommend that someone with my lack of understanding accept such a favor. I took it off I had moments in the middle of work where I thought she might need another car because I was doing her a favor. I have done timing belts on several Honda vehicles in the past. That is different.
