This thing is pretty good for its fair price. Excellent transparent grain filler. It seems to hide and disappear well under the nitro lacquer. Finding and sanding the right thickness is a bit tricky at first, but each new product takes some getting used to. Do a sample or two to understand the properties of the material and you'll get great results. Grain fills EVERYTHING. EVERYONE. Never skip adding grain, no matter how dense you think the wood is. This material is now my secret weapon for a cosmically shiny maple guitar finish. This reduces the number of coats, makes final sanding easier and overall you have less work to achieve a full matte ultra gloss finish.
