Ideal for personal use
I almost didn't buy it because it only had two reviews and one was bad. Yesterday I used it to survey a 20m x 60m riding arena, winding it up and down repeatedly to measure the length and width, level the arena and make marks on all sides. It works well, wraps and unwraps smoothly, and stays on task. It might be a little small for serious construction work, but it's perfect for my purposes.
