It may not be what you think. Make sure you know what size you need. This item did not exactly fit the 4 ton Blackhawk Portopower cylinders and hoses that I have. This order was messed up from the start. To be honest I ordered the wrong hitch the first time because I assumed that when they say it fits all 4 ton rams it means it fits all. NOT CORRECT. But they _shipped_ the wrong item, and it wasn't until they sent me the part number I provided that I discovered my own error. So two weeks and two deliveries later I still had the wrong item. These fittings are sold by Northern Tools and although they were very accommodating and agreed to exchange the item for one that appeared to be the correct pin end size, I ended up paying so much extra shipping cost I almost didn't get my money back . first rehearsal. When I finally got the coupler with the correct fitting, it turned out that the female side that connects to the hose was the wrong size. I ended up using the female part of the old fitting, but this required sanding part of the new fitting to make it work. Ultimately this was all down to my own stupidity - I had to work hard to really work out what size fitting was on my cylinder and what size fitting was required to connect to the hose (part of my laziness was because you need to know the actual size of the fittings to "pipe size" which does not appear to be related to the fitting itself). Conclusion: This is one of the things that you should buy locally if possible.
