I played 5 rounds with this watch. The feature that excited me the most was shot tracking. Being able to see the round at the end, see all your shots and where they went was very attractive. The watch only recognizes about 1/3 of my recordings. It's not even about picking up my discs, it's the shot you'll land the hardest and should be the easiest to pick up. Thus, at the end of the round you have holes showing a tracked shot or no shots. Today I went 3 holes, not a single shot was tracked. I've been trying to contact Garmin for a week and all they told me was to update the software on the watch. I was asking if there was a way to manually mark a shot if it wasn't recognized and there isn't. My questions about this have not been answered. Telling me how far I am from the hole, that's impeccable. As for the activity tracker, the application is very rich and excellent. But I needed a dedicated golf watch, not an activity tracker. TO UPDATE! ******* I was working with Luke, a software engineer at Garmin, and he saw my review above and got in touch. It turned out that I was wearing the watch on the wrong wrist. I'm left-handed, so I wear my watch on my right wrist and play golf with my right hand. Obviously, the watch should be worn on the front wrist when playing golf. The next time I went to the track with the watch, I put it on my left wrist and it didn't miss. It was much more sensitive and even picked up practice swings and my chips around the green. Now I have a complete overview of each round. Thank you Garmin!
