I have used MilitaryShield on my phones for a few years but bought a Garmin eTrex. On my first day on the trail, I strapped it into my belt loop while riding. Picking it up to look at the screen, I realized to my horror that the screen had been rubbing against my saddle for the past two hours. It looked like someone put sandpaper on it. I bought this as a last resort because I saw someone say it hides scratches on their Garmin. Em. HOLY SHIT. When I put it on there wasn't a single scratch on it! I couldn't believe it! Oh, and I clipped it to the same belt loop last weekend where it was rubbing against my saddle for 4 hours. And no scratches, and the MilitaryShield is still as reliable as day one.
