I install a lot of these to replace poor quality plastic joints. Assuming FIX was installed. I have not experienced a single failure of this product. I am switching my commercial vehicles to this billet steel product. 5 times more expensive than plastic. But saves the cost of RETURN issues by using the plastic version.
