I used to buy plastic couplers from an auto parts store but they fail every 3-4 years sending bits of plastic into my water pump and cooling system. This is a much better material and will probably outlive a Jeep and I.

I install a lot of these to replace poor quality plastic joints. Assuming FIX was installed. I have not experienced a single failure of this product. I am switching my commercial vehicles to this billet steel product. 5 times more expensive than plastic. But saves the cost of RETURN issues by using the plastic version.

Came as ordered and was used on my car's heater hose which brought coolant to the heater core. Has worked well so far and both hose sizes fit well. The only problem was that coolant vapor could still escape from the notches, I saw a lot of gas coming out of the clutch. However, there is nothing that a swift yoke cannot loosen. All round good.

Most campers are Frankenstein models. In my case, the vent hose from the gas tank (where the injector goes) was a different size than the vent hose coming back from the tank. I needed this adapter to join them. Luckily, someone actually does! Sharp nicks on this product, exact size, clamps and hoses are tight and split/leaking hoses from previous work are gone!
