tried but gave back. I'm disappointed. We had a beautiful snowy owl in the area. I took photos with my Canon camera and it was ok. I have 2 binoculars and they are easy to use. I thought it would be great to use binoculars with a camera but not like this. Issues: Menu button wasn't touched but used zoom in/out and it went further into configuration and changing things. I set the date/time and when I uploaded the photos, was it the previous day? (may be due to increase/decrease). I'm not aware of any "zoom" factors, but my cheap old binoculars work much better (it's advertised at 12x). The photo I took of this majestic white show owl turned out to be a landscape?! Aside from not looking as they would through binoculars, they were blurry. I'm not the most stable but all the photos were bad. Settings - when scrolling through them and using the up/down buttons to set options, it gets stuck if you press them too quickly. It switches to other settings or returns to camera/recording mode. They seem to go into settings mode more often than intended. I had a hard time adjusting the binoculars to my eyes. If I take them out of the bag, line them up and look for the image I want, once it's there, the next time I use them they 'move' and are difficult to refocus on. I don't like giving negative reviews. and only twice did I feel like I had to give something back. As a rule, I can acquire new insights and adjustments. It was already too much. I would encourage you to read others (I wish I had done this before) about using a viewing window for shooting versus binoculars. I discovered this later and tried it, but it was still blurry or missed the subject.
