Kitchen, bench, workbench, garage, STF tools. I would recommend these things ANYWHERE! I'm sure most people have scissors at home for cutting paper and the like. But they will do almost anything you ask for! I've cut paper, cardboard, plastic, laminate, vinyl tile, rubber, fabric (leather, denim, etc.), wire, and a few other materials I can't remember. These are working scissors! I've had a pair in my kitchen for over 10 years and have bought two more - one for my leather bench and one for my wife's tool box because we kept "borrowing" one from the kitchen! The original shows no signs of wear. Very happy with it!
