Not all parts were bare brass

We're getting older and having trouble opening doors with traditional round knobs, so we found these Honeywell levers. It turns out that there are 3 different styles (entrance, with lock in the bathroom and external). They were all ordered with a "bright brass" finish. We were very happy with the first 20 we bought. However, the final set of four "bright brass" thru arms were not "bright brass". The levers themselves were "bare brass" but the interior of the mechanism and the buttplates looked "sandblasted". I've hidden them on doors we don't use often and it doesn't affect their function, but I wanted "shiny brass" and didn't get it. Your mileage can be very good.
