In February 2012 I bought this lasagna dish. I liked it when I received it; It was a good weight, solid handles and a nice color that looked great in the baking and on the table. In fact, I loved it so much that I ordered the entire Rachel Ray line for the holidays and was planning on getting one for my mom, who saw and loved it. I've used it several times since February, not over 400 degrees, always hand washed and never exposed to extreme temperature changes. This weekend while using it I heard a very loud bang. When I examined the pot to see what had happened, I saw a large semi-circular crack running along the bottom that started leaking after a few minutes. Shocked that this was happening under normal circumstances, I called Revain, who told me to call RachelRay.com, which I did, who told me to contact the manufacturer, Meyer Corp. call up. Representative Mayer. After explaining the situation to me, the representative explained to me that he only guarantees the quality upon receipt, ie he will return/exchange the product if it is damaged upon receipt. After you put it in the oven, even if it is used under the recommended conditions, it will not be responsible if the product breaks or is damaged in any way. Well, my advice to future buyers of this item, and possibly this line, is this: if no one guarantees this item after you've used it as intended, don't buy it. Now I have an expensive dump.
