Review on πŸ”˜ Premium VViViD Black Gloss Vinyl Wrap Roll with Air Release Technology - Bulk Roll (1ft x 5ft) by Dustin Lannan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Used for pasting the front of the truck. Good for the price. Get a sizing sample to check the color.

I sealed the chrome bumper and grille on my Silverado LTZ Z71. The vinyl arrived undamaged and was shipped quickly. Slight wrinkles came out with a little heat. There were small scratches that were easy to see when I blackened. I wish I had a smaller sample as it's a little grayer than my gloss black truck in bright sunlight. See photo. The last photo is the "before" photo. I've worked with vinyl a few times, but I'm no pro. I found this vinyl to be fairly easy to work with on flat surfaces. It was quite thin and warmed up quickly. Too much pressure or heat and it tore quite easily when applied. And I've found that it doesn't recover from stretching as well as some of the other vinyls I've used and starts to lose color if stretched too much. When overloaded or sweaty hands, it starts to lose grip. VERY easy to scratch. I wrapped my felt applicator in a lens cleaning cloth to minimize scratches. The felt has left many scratches. It's easy to see since I used black. Measure your item and add up to 10 inches in each direction, which is enough for you to pull. Watch some videos about what it's like your first time. When you pack the car, I recommend washing it, exposing the clay, then stripping off some of the possible and wrapping it in a clean and warm area away from pet hair or dust.
