Unlike smartwool socks which are so tight they are always difficult to put on, these ripped wool socks are easy to put on and hold up. They're soft, warm and luxuriously comfortable in slippers and not too bulky for casual shoes. They don't itch which is great! After washing in lukewarm hot water and line drying, they shrink a little, just enough to give them a little more form-fitting, which is good. I ordered size 12-15 which is XL because obviously I have a big foot. I hope Ballston makes them in other colors. They have a one-year warranty and shockproof packaging. All in all, great product!
