Good pump but wrong inlet nipple

I ordered this pump for my 2007 Honda CRV. I take the time to make sure it's the right part because I don't want the inconvenience of having to pay for a return or worse, waiting for a new part once I start my project. I was planning to replace everything on the business side. Engine: alternator, water pump, timing belt tensioner bearing, power steering pump. My car has done 209,300 miles and the power steering pump has been squeaking for about 800 miles. The generator light was on, the serpentine belt was old and cracked, and on this side of creation there's no way to break it more than once. So replace everything the first time or keep coming back.? A simple solution. The generator was annoying, but swearing always helps. Water Pump: Very compact when I had all the engine mounts and idler pulley. I put everything back together and installed the power steering pump, when did I find out?! The low pressure inlet nipple (large line coming from the tank) was pointing the wrong way! Remove and rotate 180Β°. Let's get this over with you say? Yes, I have. That does not work. Anyone who has studied organic chemistry knows that you cannot rotate an enantiomeric molecule 180Β° and glue it back to the molecule. It will not work for cold melts and will not fit power steering pump nipples. You may be wondering why not just use an old part from the original pump. In an emergency, of course. Maybe. Just as easy as using an old oil filter when changing the oil. Or old tires when buying new rims. This sucker is 13 years old and has undergone 9,490 heat cycles assuming you drive your car twice a day every day for 13 years. So. he'll be back as soon as I spend a hundred and sixty dollars on one at AutoZone! I regret buying it and having to do it again. On the plus side, a new o-ring was included on the nipple that was misaligned. No onrong for high pressure line. And it had protective covers on both I/O ports.
