We are a family of 7 planning a trip from Idaho to Galveston, Texas for a carnival cruise. We decided to drive rather than fly but didn't have space for our luggage so I did some research and read reviews about the RoofPax car roof bag. Roof Bag had some great reviews. So I decided to buy and test it, didn't want to write a review until I'm back from my trip. So this is my rating. We left Idaho with blustery winds and headed into Utah where parts of Utah had snow, rain and hail, then drove through New Mexico with sunshine and dust, and finally ended up in Texas where rain and tornadoes are alongside us. I was delighted our stuff got wet our trip was ruined but I have to say none of our luggage was wet this bag did what it said it would. I was so happy I bought it. So yes, I recommend it if you are traveling and need extra space in your car. It has plenty of space to store more things you buy on the trip. With that in mind, I'm giving this roof bag 5 stars because not only have I ridden cross country, but I've kept my luggage dry in all the storms we've been through. The only downside to the roof bag was the hooks, you can feel the wind through those hooks on the door, apart from being an investment worth buying.
