I use a splatter guard when I'm cooking 3 inch pork chops. With a very hot cast iron skillet and canola oil, it's pretty messy. But the chops are so good I always clean up after dinner. So I saw your screen on one of the food blogs and decided to give it a try... the 13 inch screen is very good for a cast iron skillet. I always tilted the lid to keep the chops from evaporating, but even that made a mess. Now when using the screen knocks out almost all splashes. Cleaning the hob now only takes a few minutes instead of 15 minutes! Yes, that's pretty cute... get it done and put the screen in the dishwasher. Next thing I think of is Smashburger in the kitchen. This is a 5 star product that saves me a lot of cleaning time.
