Review on 🔪 Lotos LT3500 35 Amp Air Plasma Cutter, Clean Cut up to 10mm – 2/5 Inch, 110V/120V Input, Pre Installed Air Filter Regulator with NPT Quick Connector, Brown by Christopher Smith

I've watched countless videos of different plasma cutters, from the cheapest to under $700 models. After watching a video in particular of the LT3500 cutting through 1/4" steel, I was confident that this model would work for me. I received/ordered the LT3500 within 3 days. My workshop -Workbench was already set up for the LT3500, the air was hooked up to the work area and the workbench 117v output switch was bumped up to 30A.I adjusted the air pressure to 65psi.pressed the button.The machine cut through so quickly the metal how I could move the torch. Oh yes it definitely works as advertised. Since then I've made several cuts in the steel angle and flat plate down to 3/16". I would have liked a higher quality tool but the fact is, that this LT3500 does exactly what I need up to 1/4" diameter steel. If I were a professional fabricator/welder I would go for a good quality machine but for my occasional use this thing is perfect. As a former and now retired college professor, I give Lotos Grade- A for this little gem, good job! Update 2/11/2019: The LT3500 has been working great since I got it, but a few days ago (9/2/2019) it stopped Display intermittently broken and then completely blank The scoreboard was not affected. I used it this morning (11/02/2019) with a blank display, but it bothered me to know that it wasn't showing the current selected. I removed the cover and swapped the ends of the ribbon connector cables from the motherboard to the display board and it worked with the correct display. Apparently there was an open pin on one of the connectors, so it's back online with a replacement. I am very happy with the performance of the LT3500. The picture shows a repurposed 20 gallon air compressor. r to the mobile cart/air bearing for the LT3500. I fill the tank with "oil free" air, from there through the regulator/filter water separator in the LT3500. And yes, I know a water seal works best when the air cools; however, significant cooling must occur due to air expansion as the storage tank fills.
