Good for the home garage.

I do a lot of auto mechanic work at home and had to cut out the u-bolts on the catalytic converter, muffler and exhaust hanger. Started with a grinder but soon said what the heck broke down and bought this plasma cutter. For what would have taken days of grinding, swearing, and burning out the spark, I turned on the plasma cutter and cut the studs by number in literally 10 minutes. I am very happy with this car. It's really great. Now I'm thinking about buying a small welding machine and making

great service - plasma cutters

I couldn't afford the LTP 5000D and this particular model seems to be getting good reviews. I didn't find that many reviews on YouTube for the model I bought, but I went with it based on my budget and the reputation of the other model. I understand why she doesn't have YouTube reviews. I tried 3 tips and the ceramic mug cracked into pieces. . A friend who owns a milling machine said that I need a higher amperage and that this 35 would only be good for cutting 22g steel sheet. The reason I give…

Excellent customer service

This review is about Uwelding's customer service, not plasma cutting. I have had an LT3500 plasma cutter for a little over a year and have not made any heavy cuts. Last week I had problems with a cutter head that didn't work for a long time. After calling Alex and emailing photos a few hours later, I received a tracking number for a new burner head. That alone makes this little gem worth its weight in gold in my opinion. Thanks Alex! 3-13-19 update - got a new flashlight head and it has a 2 pin

Can't beat it for $189

So I've been in the welding and fabrication industry for 5 years and I'm happy to say I would definitely recommend the lt3500. Everything arrived well packaged and 2 days before expected delivery date which was great. i opened it Started my little air compressor and made the first cuts. Wow I am very impressed with the cuts (very thin and evenly cut). I've used other Lotos machines with an old burner and this new one feels much better in the hand. Cuts through butter like a hot knife and…

Nice hobby car.

I've had it for about 6 weeks now and haven't had any problems with it so far. I did not purchase this plan for everyday use. I bought it primarily for a frame repair project on my Jeep. I didn't want to fiddle with cut-off wheels on a grinder or use an acetylene oxy-torch. It worked flawlessly for the entire project. It's light and compact enough to sit right on top of my welder. Before buying I did a little research and found that the main problem is the ground wire. The torch cord is about…

Get ready with a powerful 40 amp circuit to try when you buy.

I bought the device over 2 months ago and at that time there was no power wiring in my building. I just spent almost $300 of which almost $200 was spent on just wiring my building. I finally tried it today and am very disappointed. I could buy a lot of cutting wheels for the money I spent on this thing, but it doesn't come close to what is advertised. That's why I said be ready to try it when it arrives because now it's too late for me to return it. I also lost a small cup of supplies after…

Great for THIN metal

Brand name plasma cutters cost thousands - how much can you expect from a $180 plasma cutter? It feels solid. All you need is an air compressor and a welding helmet to get started. Consumables for the PT-31 torch are easy to find and inexpensive. The instruction manual is mediocre, but who needs it. The LT3500 cuts through tin like a hot knife through butter. Nice thin cut. The lack of a pilot arc isn't a problem - unlike arc welding, the electrode doesn't "stick" when you hit it; and at 40…

Great little plasma cutter!

I was very hesitant to buy a cheap imported plasma cutter but I just can't afford to buy blue, red or gray brands. I had a big project planned and decided to take a chance. I was just stunned! I've only been using it for 2 weeks but I can't stop! I've used it in every project imaginable just to make sure if it breaks it will break within Revain's return period. I've even used it to cut angled and narrow bars instead of using a chop saw. I didn't even have the hiccups from it and it worked…

Works very well, impressive.

I've watched countless videos of different plasma cutters, from the cheapest to under $700 models. After watching a video in particular of the LT3500 cutting through 1/4" steel, I was confident that this model would work for me. I received/ordered the LT3500 within 3 days. My workshop -Workbench was already set up for the LT3500, the air was hooked up to the work area and the workbench 117v output switch was bumped up to 30A.I adjusted the air pressure to 65psi.pressed the button. The machine…

if you look at it Just buy it now!

Holy Cow. i love this thing I've only used it a couple of times, but that was enough to really, really put me up with it. I'm a real person, not a bot. The lack of reviews was making me tired, but after seeing more reviews on the home storage site, I realized that after purchasing the cable and installing the subpanel, I was spending at least $750 dollars needed for 240 units. I bought an esab pt31 torch head that someone else mentioned in the reviews they put it on this machine because the…
