Compare to Chester

TLDR; I'll keep them and give Chester back. I was curious to see how they compare to the well-known and well-reviewed Raceface Chester. For now, the review is based on design only. I'll update when I try both on the bike. I bought both and put them side by side. As you can see there is a difference in design. Revain has other replica pedals that are more similar in design to the Chester. The main difference I see is that the Chester has 4 pins in the front and 4 in the back while the BIKEIN pedals have 5 in the front and 3 in the back. The pins of the BIKEIN pedals are about 1m shorter and feel "cheaper". with less grip on the finger: the processing is not as precise and the metal is less hard. I think you could replace them with standard socket head cap screws of the desired length if you like. The processing of the pedal axle is also somewhat less precise. The weight is actually a bit lighter. Despite the shorter length and cheaper feel of the pins, I don't feel any difference in traction on the bottom of my flip flops. Let's look at the tracks. Finally got the chance to compare them on the tracks! I used a Chester pedal and a BIKEIN pedal. Most of the time I could hardly tell a difference. If I was a little more observant, the BIKEIN actually felt more than just traction. I had to take my foot off the pedal to move it. My foot has slipped a few times with Chester but never with BIKEIN. I expected Chester to have more grip. I didn't notice any difference in flow. Of course, I can't say anything about durability yet. Finally Chester is back and I'm leaving BIKEIN.
