Just received these today and they worked great. I love running around and fishing in my bathing suit (especially in this 100 degree heat). Huge boulders kept hitting my water shoes. Okay, it was actually fine sand that really irritated my feet. So I bought some cheap canvas high top sneakers and then wrapped these awesome Gravel Guards around the top of the shoe and went down the stairs and caught a perch about an hour after unpacking. Not a drop of sand, even though I waded through 10 inches of mud. good investment Even though I look like a nerd in this outfit!
