Like the size of the playpen it's big enough my kids you can climb in and sit in it with guinea pigs. The sides should be a bit higher as my guinea pig jumped out a few times. My biggest issue with this is that the bottom fabric isn't water repellent and when the animals make a mess it goes straight through and seems to spread even faster than without it. I have to use a large vinyl tablecloth under the playpen to catch dirt and then I have to clean both the tablecloth and the top and bottom of the playpen. I have tried washing the playpen in the tub several times but the fabric does not clean well and the size of the item makes it difficult to clean the inside of the fabric. It dries quickly when opened and turned inside out.
