Great playpen for guinea pigs! This gives them the opportunity to walk a little. It is slightly water repellent but thin. I bought a cheap shower curtain to put in for extra protection and put a blanket over it. I couldn't fold it enough to put it back in the pack, but it folds up easily enough to store away. For the price it's definitely worth it!

So thankful I bought this before we got our daughter a dwarf hamster for Christmas! I really don't know how we would let her play with Cracker (hamster) without him. Like the size of the playpen it's big enough my kids you can climb in and sit in it with guinea pigs. The sides should be a bit higher as my guinea pig jumped out a few times. My biggest issue with this is that the bottom fabric isn't water repellent and when the animals make a mess it goes straight through and seems to spread even faster than without it. I bought a medium sized kitten aged 5-6 weeks and he jumps easily even without anything in the paddock. All he has to do is stretch out his paws and the handle simply folds in and lets him step out. It's just not tall enough but not solid either, if it were taller it would be good for my kitty but it's not for that. I bought an extra small playpen for my Syrian hamster Felix. He's a big boy so I thought he might need more space to explore. As soon as I opened the tote, it opened to the second stage of folding, so I could never put it back in the tote. Not a big deal, but it should stay folded if that's advertised.
