I have a non Magsafe wireless charger in my car and it works fine but as I currently have an iPhone 12 Pro Max I have I decided to try this Magsafe charger. It works as described. The packaging was smaller than I expected, the box looks cheap with simple branding. Inside the box is a Magsafe charger, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB car power adapter. It requires little assembly and was very easy. I tested it with a regular case first and the magnet couldn't hold my iPhone 12 Pro Max, but without the case it really holds tight, I tried shaking it a little and it didn't fall off. So it's important to know that this Magsafe charger works well with Magsafe cases only if you need a case and it's strong enough to hold the largest iPhone currently available. I've been driving around with my iPhone out of a case with this Magsafe charger, hit a few speed bumps and from my experience I'm pretty sure my phone won't fall off that easily. As far as build quality goes, it's mostly made of premium plastic. The ball head is strong enough to prevent the phone from slipping out of place. This works for a USB car charger, but I prefer to use the existing USB charger in my car. Overall I am confident enough to use this Magsafe charger, but i need to buy more magsafe cases. I highly recommend this Magsafe car charger to people who already have Magsafe cases or who want to use their phone in its purest form.
