Review on Petsafe Flex Contacts for Collars: Enhanced 4-piece Replacement Set by Kim Bell

I read the review before purchasing but really wanted a product that was less likely to cause ulcers in my dog. I immediately understood why others complained that they were difficult to tighten without cracking the rubber coating. The metal screw cannot be gripped directly as it is covered with rubber around the edges. Also, it's very short and doesn't allow you to grab anything. All of this adds to his problems. I wore them on my dog for a few weeks and then noticed one came loose and fell off. Luckily my son found it but the rubber almost snapped in half. And since rubber holds two pieces of metal together (the base of the screw and skin contact), it can no longer be used. Unfortunately I had to put the old solid metal bolts back in.
