Much better than stock Contact

They are great. Why doesn't the collar manufacturer supply them at the same time? My dogs almost never scratched the collars. Much better than stock contacts.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

My dog is much more comfortable! Highly recommend

These pins make the invisible collar more comfortable for my dog. I hated those needles sticking out of her throat, but she kept running. You are flexible and move with your dog. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Damaged

I recommend these if you need parts for Petsafe Ground Collars I

We have the Petsafe system in ground protection with 3 different sized collars and one set only had 1 prong, we have bought various replacement collars with plastic snaps. updated the parts of the old ones, these parts made them like new

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons

Ideal for long-haired dogs!

Most normal tines would not pierce our German Shepherd's coat and he would not feel the impact of his collar. Those tricks. Now he's definitely feeling it and the static correction is finally working. My only recommendation is to use some blue Loctite on the threads to keep them from dangling.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Safety

Very humane for collars, harnesses and leashes

Used to replace the tips on the PetSafe Electric Receiver Collar. The tips that come with the collars are made of hard metal and don't move, so it's too easy to hurt your dog's neck. These tips have a hard rubber base that allows the pins to touch the dog's neck without penetrating too deeply into the skin. Plenty of spare tips are included so they can be easily replaced if damaged or lost.

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Secret

Not as flexible as expected, but sufficient

Not as flexible as I thought looking at the pictures. About half the flexibility I assumed from the pictures. This is better than the metal pins that come with collars. I got this because I noticed my dog was starting to get bed sores from wearing the collar too often. My dog is very energetic and LOVES being outside. A week without a collar to heal and they are flexible enough to keep her neck from hurting.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great idea - Poor implantation

I read the review before purchasing but really wanted a product that was less likely to cause ulcers in my dog. I immediately understood why others complained that they were difficult to tighten without cracking the rubber coating. The metal screw cannot be gripped directly as it is covered with rubber around the edges. Also, it's very short and doesn't allow you to grab anything. All of this adds to his problems. I wore them on my dog for a few weeks and then noticed one came loose and fell…

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

AVOID those mushroom-shaped, collar-ejecting probes!

Flexible probes are a great idea, but the slippery rubber makes them difficult to put on. A probe *twice* loosened and lost. Even after I put them on to the max without damaging them, the last pair came loose and LOST MY $80 RF275 COLLAR after 3 days of no constant re-checking and re-tightening. These probes are garbage, so AVOID them at all costs. Regular solid probes have never failed me in 18 years of working with 9 different dogs.

Do not worry. They loosen and fall off easily.

Good idea but they are longer than the short shaft and really dig into the very short hair of our boxers. They are also very difficult to tighten sufficiently due to the surrounding rubber. They fell, we lost prongs and pucks in the grass within an hour of the rough play of the dogs. We are lucky that they respect borders because they could easily cross the borders. We're back to the main part. These are not worth it.

Pros
  • Plain collars
Cons
  • Repair

That's a great idea, but you can't tighten it with the little tool that comes with it. So it's best to tighten by hand. They also don't come with a blue tread lock to keep them from coming loose. Our dog wore this collar for a week and was able to scratch it enough to completely come off. Then she chewed up the black box to the point where it no longer works. Had to buy a replacement collar and it cost me $90 instead of what should have been more comfortable for the dog.

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
  • Problems
