After spending over a month trying to find a problem with my 1975 Airstream RV and assuming that fuel delivery might no longer be a problem (because it was completely replaced), I installed a vacuum gauge/gauge on the fuel line and found that the pressure at the carburetor was only 1.5-2psi. I then took readings from both sides of the actual pump. the same: 1.5-2psi. I can't believe that after replacing the entire fuel delivery system (pump, filter, lines, sensor/intake manifold) and then spending a lot of time on the carburetor, the problem is that the new pump I bought doesn't work work and sufficient fuel supply. I know a lot of people who swear by this P4070 so I'm wondering if it's just an accident or if the product sold here doesn't meet Carter standards. Of course, I've been trying to fix this issue for over a month, so I don't have a 30-day Revain return window. Very frustrating.
