They're pretty well made but the bulbs are a joke. I bought 2 strings and had to steal the bulbs from another set to A) replace the bulbs that don't light. B) Lamps flickering indicate the Halloween haunted house effect. Finding replacement bulbs for these sockets is awful as 3 manufacturers will not fit, either the bulb body is too thick and does not fit properly or the screw bulkheads are too short and not seated properly. I am using a 13.1-13.6VDC standalone solid state battery system (606Ah backup system). The plug-in power supply (AC to DC) supplies 12.8 VDC.
