For Dodge 4.7 V8. Sounds fantastic out of the car. It's noisy but doesn't "wake up the neighbors" loudly. Interior noise can be a bit louder, especially around 1500 rpm under load. A roar on the freeway doesn't seem bad, but driving slowly/stopping and moving around can get annoying over time. The conversation in the cabin is never drowned out, but you should deliberately speak louder when driving uphill. EDIT: After a few weeks I got used to the noise level completely and it doesn't seem excessive anymore.
