V8 Rumble Without the Drone

Installed on my Lexus GX460 (V8). Nice deep sound when idling and slightly aggressive sound under load. Enough sound and volume to let people know it's not standard but won't bother the neighbors. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Rugged 16-gauge, all-welded aluminized steel case
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Good Sound for Exhausts and Parts

I got this muffler to replace an old one that was completely rusted out. This muffler has a nice sound. Not too loud, so if you're looking for a really aggressive sound, get 3" tubes and go for doubles.

Pros
  • Race Proven Delta Flow Technology

Definitely aggressive, but not absurd.

For Dodge 4.7 V8. Sounds fantastic out of the car. It's noisy but doesn't "wake up the neighbors" loudly. Interior noise can be a bit louder, especially around 1500 rpm under load. A roar on the freeway doesn't seem bad, but driving slowly/stopping and moving around can get annoying over time. The conversation in the cabin is never drowned out, but you should deliberately speak louder when driving uphill. EDIT: After a few weeks I got used to the noise level completely and it doesn't seem…

Pros
  • Ideal for on-road/lane and off-road use
Cons
  • No
