Android car radio is better than I expected and very expensive. The radio sounds better than my last two stereos, the response is quick, the screen is clear and bright and the overall quality is very good for such an affordable unit. The installed GPS software is nice, although its features are limited, and I was able to easily install a few other GPS apps for Android, including Google Maps, Here Maps, and Waze. It's really nice to have an Android tablet integrated into my dashboard. I can stream music (using my phone as a hotspot), find the cheapest gas nearby, track mileage/gas costs with the app and much more. And with all the apps that I think I need, half of the 16g remains free. I originally wanted a 32g model but you don't really need all the apps you would install on a tablet or phone to use in the car. I saved a lot of money by buying the 16g version. With one of the 3 USB ports, I can download as much music as I want onto USB sticks for long trips. I was particularly surprised at how well the FM radio works and sounds. I thought I would lose a lot of the sound quality coming from the HD Radio head unit, but overall the sound exceeded my expectations. Note that the faceplate's external dimensions are slightly larger than the standard double din dimensions (the part that goes behind the dash, but I had no problem using it with the standard dash adapter kit (with a Slight modification of the dashboard kit )., larger because the hole in the kit frame was smaller than the standard hole.) The item description shows all these dimensions accurately so this was no surprise. The included instructions are basic but good enough for me There isn't much on installation and wiring but the colors of the wires are all standard, the wires are labeled and there is a label on the top of the unit showing all the connectors and wires It works just as well, if not better than I expected based on the product description.
