Review on Genuine Mazda PE07 13 3A0A Cleaner Element by Alex Montgomery

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheaper than dealer and easy to install

Dealer wanted to charge me $50 for filter change and labor. You can buy this filter from Revain for about $18-20. I have a 2016 Mazda 3 and the replacement process was relatively easy. I'm not a mechanic and to be honest I don't know much about cars. I don't even change the oil myself, but the air filter change was pretty easy. I recommend searching google for release year and manufacturer on youtube and it will help you a bit. Quality: This filter is made in Japan and is listed on packaging and advertising. The filter is heavy and strong. It looks the same as the original I had in the car but much cleaner as it had to be replaced. I really like how this filter makes it easy to know which side is up and which is down. Otherwise your air filter will not fit properly in the car. Installation: The process was easy as there were 2 clips that I had to reverse and then remove the cover to take out the old filter. I had a little trouble removing the lid, but it still didn't take more than 10 minutes. One opened up, I just pulled out the old filter and put in a new one. Then it had to be ensured that the sleeve was put back on and the two clips folded back. It was an easy process and saved me over $30 compared to asking the dealer to switch for me. In general, I recommend this even if you don't work with cars. It's easy to do and doesn't take long. Maybe you can have a great meal with the $30 saved!
