I should have bought these a long time ago! We don't leave shoes in the house so it always takes a little while for everyone (mostly our 10 year old) to put on their shoes and head out the door when it's time to leave. A colleague told me that she bought her daughter shoelaces without a tie, so I looked for them. They were very easy to put shoes on. They stay tight and are very quick and easy to put on and take off. This makes it much easier to get back home quickly for something. We remove our shoes at the door but this can take a long time as you have to re-tie your shoelaces when entering or exiting. I love that they had many color options. My daughter loves the mint green Nike sneakers she has so I have the same ones. She also has a pair of pink and black Nike sneakers and I think I'll buy her pink laces without a matching tie. Something like this will also work when my little one grows up. He is autistic and I think it will be difficult for him to learn how to tie his shoelaces. So, another nice bonus. I never knew these existed. I'm very glad my colleague told me about it because I would never have thought to check it out!
