Light but warm.
Haven't used it for the cold Chicago winters yet, but I think it would be fine with a flannel vest underneath. The zip is VERY snug and has only been worn a handful of times since early fall.
- Coat liked it, the kid too! Warm and light.
- I had to go back. The size chart doesn't fit my average 11 year old boy. It was too tight in the body.
