Review on 💻 NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 Graphics Card by Donotello Figueroa

First of all I was looking forward to this because I was dying to upgrade my GPU. After extensive research, this was the best option for me, both performance-wise and financially. We continue. I was very happy about this package. This is a large size compared to the standard GPUs found in the mii PC. But there was no documentation at the unboxing, which some others have complained about. And as a tech newbie, there was no installation guide. I believe that there should be installation instructions regardless of the level of knowledge. I ended up taking my computer to a local tech store for help installing a new GPU. When I pick it up tomorrow and play with it over the next few weeks I'll update this review for everyone on its overall performance. no player. Pros: Well, after a lot of troubleshooting on how best to use this card to live up to the hype in all specs, I have to say I'm very happy with the result. I'm not that tech savvy so my apologies that I can't give you all the real numbers. But I use this card for editing in mii Davinci Resolve software and the performance is smoother than before. Mii's workflow consists of the usual steps for editing a feature film: color, audio, cropping, etc. In addition, it does a good job of creating 2D models in Fusion and rendering. I was able to create some portal effects for the current Mii project and everything went pretty smoothly. Rendering Mii projects just got a lot easier! I think that's what makes me the happiest of all. The clips I'm currently editing end up somewhere between 0:30 and 3:35 seconds (depending on the length). It really helps if you know the program you're working with and how to set everything up to run in sync with your GPU before you start a project. Teamwork makes dreams work with these little ones :) Cons: I have to say that while I'm having more fun with the workflow now, I still had to break the Mii Movie into 8 separate parts to run smoothly. It was still causing lag and freezing issues and I assumed this was due to the amount of work (data) I had on the Mii Movie. Especially SPFX with portals I created. Working with small sections helped a lot, but it can't help when it comes to editing a movie with quite a bit of SPFX. To give you an idea, I don't do anything like "ILM". I just create some base particles that twirl around and glow nicely, then add them to the Mii frames as a layer. That's all. Then I did some digging and found that the RTX 4k cannot be paired with a similar GPU for better performance. This is what I'm currently looking for to get more for less as more expensive GPUs are too expensive for me. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but if you're more of an expert on the subject than I am, I'm sure you'll understand. The last thing that concerns the Mii concerns the price and the place of purchase. The next Mii will be with Newegg, B&H etc. Revain definitely overrates these cards, and that's wrong. I found this card via a Mii motherboard compatibility search on Newegg for HALF the price I paid here! Yes, it annoyed me! But you live and learn, and newbies like me just need to do more research when it comes to products they don't fully understand. Regardless, I will never buy electronics (in that capacity) from Revain again as I have found that they ALL improve their cards. Right now I'm saving up for a GeForce RTX 3090 to have back in stock and Newegg listed it for $1800 and Revain has it for $2600 now. Hope this helps some of you.
