11 months update: Today the grill brush broke, it seems the metal doesn't protrude more than an inch into the plastic handle. The heat and downward pressure will eventually cause the plastic to break down. The brush itself continued to work well, but the plastic cracked. So 11 months of use, about 1 use every two weeks, totals about 24 uses, and we can round up to 30. So I was hoping it would take a little longer. So if you fry more often than me, it might not last long. But 1 year for the grill brush I think is pretty good but if they extended the metal further into the handle it would be a much better product. everyone broke their necks. This appears to be much stronger as the metal neck appears to extend to the end of the plastic handle. It seems to be a more solid construction. I love the design of the bristles they seem to be a lot bigger than the square brushes and seem to work better. I've just held the brush in my hands, haven't had a chance to try it out yet. So time will tell about durability, but things are looking promising. I don't think the photos do it justice. Judging by the pictures I was afraid it would be too small but it's spot on. Big enough to clean the grill but not so big that you can't reach the nooks and crannies. It was cheaper than similarly designed brushes.
