Review on CDN Digital Timer and Clock with Memory Function, 6.8 x 4.5 x 0.9 inches, Cream by Josh Akin

Great timer! I use it in my class for a variety of things. This is great for getting students' attention when "time is up" as the beeper is very loud. I also like that it has a save setting. I set myself 30 seconds, which is the perfect amount for think couple share. It also has a countdown setting, which comes in very handy when trying to keep track of the duration of a presentation etc. I used to work in a coffee shop and we used these timers to adjust espresso times and keep track of tea. Brew. They worked fantastically. They - unfortunately, obviously and predictably - die horribly when wet. Great timer! UPDATE 5 months later: I've just started having problems with the timer. I still think it's a good buy, but in the interest of full disclosure, here's some more info. Now the timer sometimes crashes like a computer. The screen fails and is only partially displayed and none of the buttons work. I have to do a hard reset (i.e. take out the battery and then put it back in) for it to work properly. Sometimes I have to do this multiple times before it works properly. It seems to happen when I try to set the timer for more minutes and this causes me to quickly press the minutes button multiple times. The timer is still ticking, but it sucks when there are more than thirty students waiting for me. to start the timer.
