Inaccurate reading when fully charged at 12.7V gives 84% โโreading
Inaccurate percentage reading. I recently installed and found that a fully charged 12.7 volt battery only shows 84% charge on this gauge. A 12V battery cannot have a higher voltage than 12.7V, so the reading must be 100%. This inaccurate percentage reading worries my wife when we go camping. I need to replace it with an accurate counter. However, I have already cut a hole in my custom cabinets. Therefore, trying to find a replacement in the same dimensions proves to be a difficult task. I'm willing to pay more for accuracy. If only I knew.
