Filter kit really good value for money. The packaging says Made in USA, as does the filter itself. Installation is easy. The long piece of pipe included in the kit was too long for my application. I didn't want my filter hanging 10 inches from the pump. This creates a lot of leverage and I see the cast pump being accidentally damaged by so much leverage so I used a short length of pipe I had laying around to get it closer. If I had to go to the store I would buy it for about twice as long, but it was in the bin in the store so I used it. Overall I am very happy with the filling pump and filter. I bought the pump from the Amazon warehouse for $125, so it cost me about $160 for the pump and filter. Not bad for something that should easily last a lifetime. It's light years ahead of my old cheap Chinese pump that was leaking everywhere.
