We use this filter as part of the whole house.
We use this filter as part of a whole house filter system. This is the first filter that our well water "comes" onto. There are also two other filters. We have very hard water (100+) and it contains chlorine. The smell of chlorine will definitely be eliminated. We change it about every 3-4 months.
