A better comparison would be the Samsung Pro range of SD cards with SanDisk Extreme, but I was curious how a cheaper card would compare to a card that's known for it the fastest. There is a newer version of SanDisk Extreme called A2. So if you buy, get the newer version. As you can see, both tests are very similar in their results. The budget EVO Plus has about 20MB/s slower write speeds than the more expensive Extreme, but that's a pretty negligible difference for read speeds. For action cams that record constantly, I'd buy Extreme, and for EVO Plus, I'd go with something that doesn't require a lot of writes, such as B. Storage for a phone or a drive for a Raspberry Pi. That doesn't mean that EVO Plus doesn't work in an action camera. The new GoPro 7 Black records 4K at 78Mbps, which is around 9.75MB/s, so even the EVO Plus at 68MB/s shouldn't be a problem, but a faster card can only help.
