I don't work with cars. I'm between cars and I borrowed a 2007 Subaru Forester from a friend (I forgot it was a transmission and I haven't driven one in 12 years). The original rubber clutch pedal has come loose. I was afraid that my foot would slip off the bare metal and then I would fall over her car. I was thinking of taking the car to my or her mechanic to have this rubber seal installed, but after watching a few YouTube videos I figured I could probably do it myself. When I got down there I found an old pad full of holes lying around the clutch pivots and noticed that the brake cover was also worn and full of holes. . I took the old one off and with some effort pulled the new one onto the metal. Then I went in and ordered another one for the brake pedal. Blessed are you Subaru for making ONE SAME PIECE for cars that stand for many years!
