Review on 🧤 Enhancing Your Outdoor Adventures with Outdoor Research Sensor Gloves in Black by Joe Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sensory gloves for outdoor activities

I bought these to replace a previous generation after losing my glove. OR left out the gel lettering and detailing on the back and replaced them with plain stitching. They're a bit tight at first, but after working with them a bit, they look like a good pair of jeans. They hit the sweet spot between being thick enough to keep out the weather and thin enough to be useful for touchscreen operation. I'll stick with the basic features when I have them, but they can be useful even for text messaging (I'd recommend voice messaging in those cases). The leather is of excellent quality and can withstand bad weather from snow to rain. The stitching is generally good, with loose threads visible in some places. In this case, no deterioration in integrity is observed. In terms of overall warmth, I've used these gloves for several winters in Erie, PA (some of the coldest on record). They don't look like ski gloves so don't expect them to keep your hands warm in negative numbers. They are usually on the order of about 25-50 degrees. Even if it's a little warmer, they breathe enough not to sweat profusely. Perfect driving gloves and if your hands get too cold outside, put them in your pocket for about 30 seconds and they'll warm up instantly. It also offers excellent wind protection. Too bad the price hasn't gone up a bit compared to the last pair.
